Dendy Newtown
Dendy Newtown was an existing cinema complex which MGA designed in 1995 and refurbished in 2002. The connection between the bustling urban setting and the cinema was activated by an internal brick paved laneway - bridging the gap between interior and exterior, creating a place of gathering, central to the concept of motion pictures. 6 additional screens transformed this complex into a hugely successful business - receiving record ticket sales after opening, surpassing Dendy’s expectations.
